    We ask the Universe Lémanique to talk, a universe of heterogeneous areas and fields in relation to the lake. Politicians (the National Council, the Department of Foreign Affairs Canton de Genève, the Council of Lac Léman...), representatives of infrastructure (CGN, Sagrave, CFF...) and associations (Pro Natura, ASL, FIPAL...), experts (limnogeologists, hydrologists, archaeologists, geographers, agronomists) and scholars (Cern, EPFL) have been asked to give their personal opinion about the lake. Their concern and beliefs are contradicting, complementary or coincidental. Despite all the differences there is one thing in common: a collective feeling of affiliation, in other words, a collective identity going through their speeches creating a spatial awareness. As papers read: “Le Léman, Mare nostrum. Depuis 7000ans, le Lac Léman structure l’existence de ses riveraines. …” (Le Temps, 11. Mars 2006) 

    The Short Flm gives the speech to the universe through a scene, an individual and a moment of time. The scenes are particular locations on the Lac Léman’s territory. The individuals are people who have a strong relation to the lake or the lake’s territory due to their profession or affection. The dialogues are recorded and adhered in a filmlet.
